Question 1

What is Agental?

Accepted Answer

A real, regulated talent agency whose operational work — follow-up, preparation, coaching — is augmented by AI. We represent you; the tools work alongside you.

Question 2

Is it a real agency or a listings platform?

Accepted Answer

A real agency: written mandate, official registration, professional liability. Not a listings site where you apply on your own.

Question 3

How much does it cost to start?

Accepted Answer

Nothing. The representation mandate is free and the Free plan lets you be represented without paying. The paid subscription is optional.

Question 4

Do I need experience to sign up?

Accepted Answer

No. Agental is precisely for the profiles underserved by traditional agencies. A reel filmed on your phone is enough to start.

Question 5

What is the representation mandate?

Accepted Answer

It's the standard contract between an artist and their agent, governed by French law. It authorises us to represent you and negotiate for you. Free, no commitment on your side.

Question 6

How much commission does Agental take?

Accepted Answer

10% on Free and Pro, 7.5% on Premium, 5% on Ultimate. The more you rise, the more you keep.

Question 7

Is the commission on top of the subscription?

Accepted Answer

The mandate (free) and its possible commission are separate from the subscription (optional). The subscription funds tech services; it never buys access to opportunities.

Question 8

Can I cancel my mandate?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with a short notice and without having to justify it. You stay free.

Question 9

How does the AI find roles for me?

Accepted Answer

It cross-references your profile (physique, specialties, languages, accents, availability) with open castings and suggests the ones that truly match.

Question 10

Do I keep control of my applications?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You set your preferences — project types, mobility, minimum fee — and nothing is committed in your name without your agreement. You decide, always.

Question 11

Does the subscription give me privileged access to castings?

Accepted Answer

No. Opportunities go through the mandate, which is free. The subscription lowers the commission and unlocks tools, never a fast pass.

Question 12

What happens if I stop paying?

Accepted Answer

You automatically move back to the free plan. You remain represented.

Question 13

Does it work on a basic phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Self-tape Studio has a degraded mode designed for modest devices and slow connections.
